Last Updated: 13th July, 2026.
• INTRODUCTION
This Community Standards & Code of Conduct ("Code") establishes the standards of behaviour expected of every person who accesses, registers on, participates in, contributes to, or otherwise interacts with the FURY™ Platform. FURY™ is committed to providing a safe, respectful, inclusive, and professionally managed environment that promotes fair competition, creativity, audience engagement, and responsible participation. These Community Standards are intended to protect the integrity of the Platform, preserve public confidence in competitions conducted through the Platform, safeguard Participants and users from harmful conduct, and support compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements. This Code applies to all users of the Platform, including registered Participants, contestants, audience members, voters, visitors, subscribers, ambassadors, sponsors, advertisers, content creators, employees, contractors, volunteers, moderators, production personnel, business partners, service providers, and any other individual or entity interacting with the Platform or its services. This Code should be read together with the Company's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, KYC Policy, Official Competition Rulebook, Voting & Anti-Manipulation Policy, Contestant Participation and Release Agreement, Website Disclaimer & Advertising Disclosure Notice, and any other policies, guidelines, or operational requirements published by the Company from time to time. Compliance with this Code forms a condition of access to and continued use of the Platform. Any breach may result in moderation action, restriction of Platform privileges, suspension, disqualification from competitions, removal of content, forfeiture of prizes where applicable, termination of accounts, or any other action considered appropriate under the circumstances. Nothing contained in this Code limits the Company's rights under any applicable agreement, policy, or law.
• PURPOSE OF THIS CODE
The purpose of this Code is to:
• promote respectful, responsible, and lawful participation across the Platform;
• preserve the integrity, fairness, credibility, and reputation of competitions organised through the Platform;
• establish clear behavioural expectations applicable to all users and Participants;
• protect users from harassment, abuse, discrimination, fraud, manipulation, impersonation, misinformation, and other harmful conduct;
• support transparent and consistent moderation and enforcement decisions;
• encourage constructive engagement between Participants, audiences, partners, and the wider FURY™ community;
• protect the Company's intellectual property, business reputation, confidential information, and operational systems;
• assist the Company in complying with applicable legal, regulatory, contractual, and industry obligations.
• SCOPE OF APPLICATION
• This Code applies to all conduct connected with the Platform, whether occurring before, during, or after registration, competition participation, voting activities, prize administration, promotional campaigns, content creation, community engagement, or any other activity reasonably connected with the Platform.
• Without limitation, this Code applies to conduct occurring: • on the Company's website, applications, and digital platforms; • during registration and KYC verification processes; • within competitions and auditions; • during voting activities; • on official FURY™ social media pages, communities, livestreams, broadcasts, and promotional channels; • at physical events organised, sponsored, or managed by the Company; • in communications with Company representatives, employees, moderators, contractors, sponsors, judges, production personnel, service providers, or other users where such communications relate to the Platform or its activities.
• Conduct occurring outside the Platform may also fall within the scope of this Code where such conduct materially affects the safety of Participants, the integrity of competitions, the reputation of the Company, or the proper operation of the Platform.
• GENERAL COMMUNITY EXPECTATIONS
• Every user is expected to conduct themselves honestly, respectfully, responsibly, and in good faith.
• Users shall interact with others in a manner that promotes fairness, professionalism, inclusiveness, and mutual respect.
• Participants are expected to compete based on their own skill, creativity, effort, and compliance with applicable competition rules.
• Users must refrain from engaging in any conduct that undermines public confidence in the Platform, disrupts competitions, interferes with other users' enjoyment of the Platform, or damages the Company's reputation or legitimate business interests.
• The Company encourages respectful disagreement and healthy discussion. However, disagreement must never develop into harassment, intimidation, abuse, threats, or other forms of unacceptable conduct.
• Nothing in this Code prevents lawful expression of opinions, provided such expression does not violate this Code, applicable laws, or the rights of other persons.
• PROHIBITED CONDUCT
• To preserve the integrity of the Platform and maintain a safe and respectful environment, users shall not engage in any conduct that violates this Code, applicable laws, the Terms of Service, the Official Competition Rulebook, or any other applicable Platform policy.
• Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the following conduct is prohibited.
• Harassment, Bullying and Abusive Conduct • Users shall not engage in any form of harassment, intimidation, bullying, stalking, coercion, threats, humiliation, or abusive behaviour directed at another user, Participant, contestant, voter, employee, moderator, contractor, sponsor, judge, partner, or any other person connected with the Platform. • Conduct may constitute harassment regardless of whether it occurs publicly or privately and whether it occurs once or repeatedly where its nature or severity reasonably creates fear, distress, humiliation, intimidation, or emotional harm. • The Company may consider the surrounding circumstances, frequency, context, intention, and likely impact of the conduct when determining whether a violation has occurred.
• Hate Speech and Discriminatory Conduct • Users shall not publish, upload, transmit, promote, encourage, or otherwise communicate content that promotes hatred, violence, discrimination, hostility, or intolerance against any individual or group. • Content targeting persons on the basis of race, nationality, ethnicity, colour, religion, gender, sex, sexual orientation, disability, age, language, political opinion, or any other legally protected characteristic may constitute a violation of this Code. • The Company may remove such content immediately and take any enforcement action considered appropriate.
• Threats, Violence and Dangerous Conduct • Users shall not threaten violence against any person or property. • Users shall not encourage self-harm, suicide, criminal conduct, terrorism, violent extremism, unlawful acts, dangerous challenges, or conduct capable of causing physical injury or significant psychological harm. • Any credible threat to personal safety may be reported to appropriate authorities where legally required or reasonably necessary.
• Impersonation and False Identity • Users shall not impersonate another individual or organisation or falsely represent their identity, qualifications, authority, affiliations, sponsorship, or relationship with the Company. • Without limitation, users shall not: • create fake contestant profiles; • impersonate Company personnel; • use another person's identity during registration or KYC verification; • falsely claim endorsement or sponsorship by the Company; • create accounts intended to deceive other users. • Verified accounts, competition records, and KYC information must accurately identify the individual concerned.
• Fraudulent, Deceptive and Dishonest Conduct • Users shall not engage in fraud, deception, manipulation, or dishonest practices relating to any aspect of the Platform. • Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation, submitting false information during registration, falsifying eligibility requirements, providing inaccurate KYC documentation, manipulating competition outcomes, making fraudulent payment claims, abusing promotional campaigns, exploiting system vulnerabilities, or engaging in any scheme intended to obtain an unfair advantage. • Any attempt to deceive the Company or other users may result in immediate enforcement action.
• Misinformation and False Statements • Users shall not knowingly publish or distribute materially false, misleading, manipulated, or deceptive information relating to the Platform, competitions, Participants, prizes, voting processes, sponsors, judges, Company representatives, or Platform operations where such information is likely to cause confusion, reputational harm, panic, fraud, or disruption. • Nothing in this provision prevents users from expressing honestly held opinions, provided such opinions are clearly distinguishable from factual assertions and are not published maliciously or recklessly.
• AI-Generated and Manipulated Content • The Company recognises that artificial intelligence technologies may be used responsibly in appropriate circumstances. However, users shall not use AI systems or other digital manipulation tools to deceive, mislead, impersonate, manipulate competition outcomes, fabricate evidence, falsify voting materials, create fraudulent identities, or otherwise undermine the integrity of the Platform. • Where AI-generated content is submitted as part of any competition or promotional activity, Participants shall comply with any disclosure requirements, eligibility criteria, or content rules prescribed by the Company. • The Company reserves the right to investigate suspected use of manipulated media, synthetic content, deepfakes, automated content generation, or other technologies capable of misleading users or affecting competition integrity.
• Contestant Abuse • Participants deserve to compete in a safe and respectful environment. • Users shall not engage in targeted abuse, intimidation, ridicule, organised harassment, public shaming, coordinated attacks, or sustained hostility directed toward contestants. • Constructive criticism and respectful commentary regarding competition performances are permitted provided they remain civil, proportionate, and respectful. • The Company may remove content or restrict accounts where user conduct exceeds acceptable standards of respectful engagement.
• Offensive, Obscene and Inappropriate Content • Users shall not publish, transmit, or distribute content that is unlawful, obscene, sexually explicit, excessively violent, grossly offensive, defamatory, or otherwise unsuitable for the intended audience of the Platform. • The Company reserves discretion to determine whether content is inconsistent with the values, objectives, reputation, or operational standards of the Platform. • Content that is otherwise lawful may still be removed where its publication materially undermines community safety or the integrity of Platform activities.
• Spam and Platform Abuse • Users shall not use the Platform to distribute unsolicited commercial communications, repetitive messages, malicious links, automated postings, phishing attempts, or any other form of spam. • Users shall not interfere with Platform functionality, overload servers, scrape data without authorisation, circumvent security measures, deploy automated bots except where expressly authorised, or otherwise misuse Platform resources. • The Company may suspend or restrict accounts engaging in excessive automated activity or behaviour inconsistent with normal Platform usage.
• Intellectual Property Violations • Users shall respect the intellectual property rights of the Company and third parties. • No user shall upload, reproduce, distribute, modify, broadcast, exploit, or otherwise use content belonging to another person without the necessary rights, permissions, licences, or legal authority. • Where the Company receives a bona fide complaint of intellectual property infringement, it may remove the relevant content pending investigation and take any further action considered appropriate.
• REPORTING VIOLATIONS
• The Company encourages users to assist in maintaining a safe, respectful, and fair community by reporting conduct that may violate this Code or any other applicable Platform policy.
• Reports may be submitted through any reporting mechanism, support channel, or communication method designated by the Company from time to time.
• Users are expected to make reports honestly and in good faith. Knowingly making false, malicious, or frivolous reports, or abusing the reporting process to harass, intimidate, or disadvantage another person, may itself constitute a violation of this Code and may result in enforcement action.
• The Company shall determine, in its sole discretion, the manner in which reports are assessed, prioritised, investigated, or resolved, having regard to the nature of the alleged conduct, the available evidence, and the potential impact on users or the Platform.
• COMMUNITY MODERATION
• To preserve the integrity, security, and reputation of the Platform, the Company reserves the right to monitor, review, moderate, restrict, remove, edit, disable, or refuse any content, communication, account, activity, or interaction that it reasonably considers to be inconsistent with this Code, the Terms of Service, applicable laws, or the legitimate interests of the Platform.
• Moderation decisions may be made through automated systems, manual review, or a combination of both.
• The Company shall not be under any obligation to publish, retain, restore, or continue making available any content submitted by users.
• The absence of moderation in any particular instance shall not constitute approval of any conduct or prevent the Company from taking action at a later time.
• INVESTIGATION
• Where the Company reasonably suspects that a user has violated this Code or any applicable Platform policy, it may conduct such investigations as it considers reasonably necessary.
• During an investigation, the Company may request additional information, supporting documentation, explanations, identity verification, device verification, payment verification, or any other information reasonably required to assess compliance.
• Users are expected to cooperate fully with lawful requests made during an investigation.
• Failure or refusal to cooperate may be taken into account in determining appropriate enforcement measures.
• The Company may temporarily suspend access to all or part of the Platform while an investigation is ongoing where such action is reasonably necessary to protect users, preserve evidence, prevent further misconduct, or safeguard the integrity of competitions or Platform operations. • ENFORCEMENT MEASURES
• Where the Company determines, acting reasonably and in good faith, that a user has breached this Code, it may take one or more enforcement measures depending on the seriousness, frequency, intent, and consequences of the conduct.
• Such measures may include issuing a warning, removing or restricting content, limiting access to certain Platform features, suspending participation in competitions, suspending or terminating user accounts, cancelling votes or competition entries obtained through prohibited conduct, withholding or forfeiting prizes where permitted under the applicable Competition Rulebook or Contestant Participation and Release Agreement, restricting future participation, or taking any other lawful action reasonably necessary to protect the Platform and its users.
• Nothing in this Code limits any contractual, statutory, or equitable rights available to the Company.
• APPEALS AND REVIEW
• A user who believes that enforcement action has been taken in error may submit a request for review through the procedures specified by the Company.
• The request should be submitted within the period prescribed by the Company and should include sufficient information to enable the Company to review the matter.
• The Company may affirm, vary, or reverse its earlier decision after considering any additional information it considers relevant.
• The Company's decision following review shall, except where otherwise required by applicable law, be final.
• REPEAT OR SERIOUS VIOLATIONS
• Repeated breaches of this Code or any single breach involving fraud, deliberate manipulation, criminal conduct, serious abuse, threats, hate speech, impersonation, coordinated misconduct, or conduct materially prejudicing the integrity of the Platform may result in immediate suspension or permanent removal from the Platform without prior warning.
• The Company may also refuse future registrations or participation by persons whose previous conduct demonstrates a material risk to the Platform, its users, competitions, business operations, or reputation.
• COOPERATION WITH REGULATORY AND LAW ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITIES
• Nothing in this Code shall prevent the Company from cooperating with competent regulatory authorities, law enforcement agencies, courts, or other governmental bodies where such cooperation is required by applicable law, court order, lawful request, or where the Company reasonably considers disclosure necessary to investigate unlawful conduct, protect users, preserve the integrity of the Platform, or safeguard its legal rights and legitimate interests.
• AMENDMENTS TO THIS CODE
• The Company reserves the right to amend, revise, supplement, or replace this Code from time to time in order to reflect changes in applicable laws, regulatory requirements, Platform operations, technological developments, competition formats, security practices, or business needs.
• Updated versions may be published on the Platform or communicated through any reasonable means determined by the Company.
• Continued access to or use of the Platform after the effective date of any revision shall constitute acceptance of the revised Code, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
• GOVERNING LAW
This Code shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without prejudice to the application of any mandatory consumer protection or data protection laws that may apply in the jurisdiction of a user.
• DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Code shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions contained in the Terms of Service, which are incorporated into this Code by reference.
• SEVERABILITY
If any provision of this Code is held by a court or other competent authority to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall, to the extent of such invalidity or unenforceability, be severed, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
